S'mores

For those who don't know (i.e. anyone who grew up outside of the US) s'mores are a campfire tradition and no camping trip is complete without them. Here's how you make them:

You need the following ingredients:

a campfire:

a bar of Hershey's chocolate:

some marshmallows:

graham crackers:

and a skewer of some sort to roast the marshmallows (a sharpened stick works as well):

You start by placing a piece of chocolate on top of a Graham cracker square.

Then you roast the marshmallow over a camp fire. It only counts if done over a camp fire and there are varying opinions regarding how to correctly roast a marshmallow. It's a bit of an art. Here's the wrong way do it:

A properly roasted marshmallow (according to Nick) should be nearly liquid throughout with a tasty light brown exterior.

The roasted marshmallow is placed on top of the chocolate and squeezed together with another cracker.

Once complete, the "sandwich" is eaten around the campfire.

And yes, the marshmallow does get stuck in one's beard ;)
