In case you hadn't noticed, Nick had grown one hell of a beard over the last few months. In fact, he hadn't shaved in approximately four months:
He was considering letting it go until the end of the trip. We were both curious what a seven-month beard would look like. After the trek though, he just couldn't stand it anymore. Luckily, Pokhara is full of little barber shops where they will do a shave with a straight razor for about $1.50:
In the end, Nick looked way younger than either of us remembered him - not necessarily a bad thing:
